School History
Northwest Health Careers was founded in July of 1997
as a Massage Therapist training school and was originally named Northwest
Massage School. In December of 1998,
the facility was expanded to include a Dental Assisting
training program and was renamed Northwest Health Careers. In June 2003
we opened our Medical Assisting
training program. By 2005, Northwest Health Careers had
begun to offer training in Colon Hydrotherapy, Phlebotomy and Medical Billing.
Northwest Health Careers is owned by John
Kenny, D.C.. Dr. John Kenny is a graduate of Northwestern University with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He next
attended the National College of Chiropractic at Lombard,
IL where he graduated in 1982 as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine. Dr.
Kenny is licensed to practice
chiropractic care in Nevada, Arizona and Illinois, and
has maintained a private practice in Las Vegas since 1992.
Our vision is to continue our endeavor of maintaining
a health careers school that emphasizes professionalism and job placement
by keeping our students on the cutting edge of their respective fields. Students
from across the country and around the world have had the opportunity to
attend Northwest Health Careers.

Nevada Commission on Post Secondary Education.
