Now that you are a full fledged graduate of Northwest Health Careers what can you expect? Remember that we're here to help and we always love to see our past students come back for information or help. Our goal is to help you find the right career once you leave Northwest Health Careers, so what should you expect:

How do I find employment?

Come talk to us. We'll help you out. Our faculty and placement office is happy to help all new graduates find success. Come back, talk to us and let us help you. We're looking forward to your success and hearing about it.

What type of work will I be doing?

This will depend on the type of career you've chosen. If you went with chiropractic courses, we will help you find a job doing what you were trained for. It all depends on what type of path you've chosen for your success, but we're here to help guide you. Dental Assisting students will be directed to a local dentist office, while Massage Therapy students will be sent to learn from accredited massage therapist.

What can I expect after graduation?

We hope that you find a job quickly; many of our graduates go straight into an open position. We're here to help you find the job that's right for you. Don't forget about our staff, they are dedicated to helping you receive the recognition for your hard work through a fulfilling career. Talk to your counselors and teachers about open positions. Explain your desires and they will help you make them a reality. Career Services was designed to help you, so take advantage of that.

How many hours or course credits do I need to graduate?

Our courses usually take XX months/year/s to complete. Your guidance counselor and admissions officer can provide more information about your new career path.

Will courses from other schools transfer?

If your courses were taken at an accredited institution and you have no outstanding debts with that institution, some classes will transfer. It depends on the courses and the institution. Talk with a guidance counselor and see if any of your previous courses will transfer.

Can I take courses at another school while at NWHC?

You can be enrolled at any institution along with NWHC. We're interested in your success, no matter how you get there. We're ready to answer any of your questions. Let us help you help yourself.

How can I change my course program?

Speak with the Admission office or to your counselor, they can provide all the information you may need to change courses. It's possible that some of your credits will transfer to that discipline, so make sure to speak with a counselor.
