Philosophy
Northwest Health Careers Medical Insurance Specialist Program prepares you for the exciting and ever challenging profession of Insurance Billing
and Coding.
Unique to Northwest Health Careers, the Medical Insurance Specialist program combines both on-line and hands on learning to completely train you
in Billing and Coding. You learn at home, on your time table and you have the opportunity for hands on, in class teaching and internship
practicals one to two times per week as your schedule permits.
The curriculum will give you the academic and hands on training necessary to become an integral part of any medical or dental practice, hospital
or surgical center. You will train in an office of your choice after your formal instruction is complete.
Upon successfully completing your program you will receive a diploma from Northwest Health Careers which qualifies you to sit for the National
Billing and Coding Board Exam.
As a graduate, your next stop is working as a Medical Insurance Specialist in a healthcare facility, living your dream with your new career!

Class Schedule
Distance Learning offered online day or night. Your day classes have weekly meetings with the instructor every Tuesday and Thursday from
12:00PM to 2:00PM. Your night classes have weekly meetings with the instructor every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM.
Facility
Northwest Health Careers has a beautiful new training facility in the heart of the growing Northwest community. There is convenient freeway
