Hands on Training
For over ten years Northwest Health Careers has been providing Southern Nevada
with the best professionals in the careers we offer. Much of this is attributed
to the fact that we have held true to our motto, “We Are
the Hands of the Future”. Anybody can learn how to do a profession out of a book, but the
experience at  Northwest Health Careers is so much more than that. Our instructors
train the students in the practical nature of their job and simulates real world
experiences through many hours of hands on training.
Professionalism and Job Placement
Each program at Northwest Health Careers is designed to not only train the
students to work in a career in health care, but to also teach professionalism
and career development. We guide the students through the process of writing
resumes, gaining computer literacy, learning the most effective ways to approach
job interviews and maintaining national and state licensure.
With this knowledge our job placement
coordinators can directly assist the
students in finding employment and beginning their future as a health care
professional. Our graduates have continued to maintain our reputation in Nevada
and have opened the doors for our current and prospective students to get hired
in many of the most prestigious jobs available.
Learning Resources
At Northwest Health Careers we believe that a complete educational experience
involves even more than traditional schooling. We understand that all students
learn differently, and here at Northwest Health Careers the success of our students is our #1 priority.
For the benefit of our students, we have on-site
tutoring available at no additional cost. Making the decision to pursue higher education can be intimidating, but
we want our students to know that they are not alone. During these one-on-one
interactions, students are able to review the information they learn in class
in a comfortable environment.
At Northwest Health Careers, we know that the scope of the educational process
reaches far beyond the walls of a classroom. It is important for our students
to receive a comprehensive, up-to-date learning experience during their time
here. As a result, all of our students have unlimited access to our on-site
computer lab equipped with internet and printing capability. Whether it be
used as an educational resource or for personal use, our lab is open during
regular business hours and is available for use by our students at any time.
International Students
Northwest Health Careers gladly accepts applications for admission from international
students looking for M1 international status. Our admissions representative would be happy to assist any interested
parties in completing the application process.
