School History

Northwest Health Careers began over 15 years ago when Dr. Kenny moved his practice to the sands of Las Vegas in order to teach people in need of new careers. Since then Dr. Kenny has added courses in dental assisting, massage therapy, medical assisting, medical insurance, phlebotomy and CRP courses.

Dr. Kenny began his career at Northwestern University, one of the finest institutes in America, from there he went on the National College of Chiropractic. He continued on to open 2 practices in Chicago before relocating to Las Vegas 22 years ago. Dr. Kenny's dream was to open a school that would cater to people who did not have a set career path. Many of our students come from different backgrounds and need the strong support our teachers provide.

Northwest Health Careers is a holistic training facility that offers curriculum-based courses for health care students and educational classes for all Las Vegas residents. We offer a full range of educational possibilities in order to boost our students personal growth, improve career outlooks and expand awareness of holistic medicine. Our goal is to assist each of our students in order to become the best people that they can.

Northwest Health Careers is now a facility with over 14,000 sq. feet of professional office space along with a lecture room, massage labs and two student clinical suites for massage training. Massage students receive excellent training from on-site health professionals during their medical massage courses.

Our dental training facility offers a dental lab with two training chairs complete with industry standard dental and x-ray equipment. We ensure that all of our dental students receive excellent training and find career opportunities after school.

Northwest Health Careers medical assistant training facility has an innovative concept with career school training that features lab work, lectures and computer training at our on-site health group. We offer on-site internship training.

Students will benefit from Northwest Health Careers facilities such as our student library, student resource room that comes equipped with computers with Internet access, along with a student lounge and nutrition center. All of our building and training facilities are ADA compliant for our handicapped students.
